Life and love being shared and multiplied @ Jacobson native art

Things are going absolutely phenomenal these days @ Jacobson native art. Every day is filled with excitement, spirit, creativity and healing. It’s a real dream come true. I feel so grateful and appreciative of this new direction in my life. My gallery partner in Johnny and fellow master artist in Kurtis and the rest of the team is delighted beyond measure. We are all super happy...

Also the creative energy has been picking up significantly and I’m getting ready to maximize the outdoor art studio over the next coming weeks. The temperature will be much more efficient during the fall into Indian summer. So I’m getting really excited about that. I have numerous commissions to execute and this season has been just explosive regarding all this new energy.

Today at the gallery and art studio we had the honour and privilege to clean up this eagle we found a couple weeks back. We feasted the eagle clan and offered our tobacco offerings in a good way. We took care of all aspects of this sacred bird. We believe this was a gift to us from Creator and Mother Earth. The skull is being prepared, 2 eagle bone whistles, tail fan, 2 wings and talons being cured. We know from these signals of the spirit that indeed all is well. We are on the path...and with that I say chi-meegwetch to all my relations and enjoy this Peyote prayer song by Louie Gonnie titled: Spheres and Talismans.

This is how powerful and beautiful it felt for us today dealing with the Eagle...

Preparing for our first “Medicine bag” making workshops this weekend @ Jacobson native art

Good evening to each and everyone. Things have been absolutely incredible here at the new gallery and open art studio. The energy and spiritual force has been transformational for every single visitor who comes to experience us. We are definitely playing in the fields of true healing and inspiration. I’ve been to all the galleries across Canada dealing in indigenous art and everyone who comes here and experiences this agrees, there is nothing like what we are offering and bringing to the table.

Our combined spiritual energies and alignment is a spearhead for this new and exciting evolution here @ Jacobson native art. We are the platform out here and new model for how these conversations are manifesting in regards to the healing of the cultural fabric of this country, our nation. All who come in to our creative temple leave feeling inspired, understood, valued and deeply appreciated.

The ancestral power and guiding lights of the souls of our residential school children are leading the way for us. We are instruments of healing, of love and compassion. It’s what these children want, to come together as the human race and embrace each other for the beauty that we are. They desire this unity and healing, this oneness.

We will be working with master leather artist: Kurtis Staven

He is of Sioux heritage and it is an honour and blessing to have one of our featured artists at the gallery and studio lead us in this exciting medicine bag making workshop.

For more info please leave a comment with your questions etc.

Thank you...MAJ 🌈🦅🌈

Going hard and strong for the last 3 weeks since our grand opening here @ Jacobson native art

Pictured here: Finding some time and space to rest

Good evening everyone. All has been well here since our grand opening last month. The amount of energy being produced every single day with each and every visitor has been absolutely transformational. They are literally coming in droves and on the hearts of everyone are our residential school children. The outpouring of love, connection and providing a safe environment for these conversations to happen has been soul touching.

When I was granted this vision to manifest this reality regarding the gallery and open art studio, I simply hadn’t seen the levels of healing that are happening. Canadians are sharing their heartfelt experiences and simply wish to be as helpful as possible around these discoveries. They feel horrible about this dark and horrific history and every single one of them has vowed to never want this to ever repeat itself.

The respect, humility and compassion has been absolutely incredible. No one leaves feeling bad, we share our love and healing. We appreciate them and their heart and understanding. The time for healing this nation is upon us. I see it each and every day at the gallery. It’s so beautiful to be a part of this healing. It’s what the souls of these children want, what they desire. I feel so humbled and honoured to be a spearhead of this transformation out here in the Kootenay mountains.

This is where I get my time to reflect, to process and heal all this energy. I truly feel blessed to be a voice for our children, in a good way, relearning once again how to walk in a kinder, softer, gentler way. To try and walk in beauty once again. I say chi-meegwetch to all my relations, MAJ

New photos of our gallery space and room 2 (the working studio) here @ Jacobson native art

Good morning to each and everyone. Here’s to new blessings and new directions as we turn the page and open our creative temple to the world. The grand opening was a big success and we’ve been dealing high energy and volume here in what is now our peak season. The community is excited and hundreds of new souls continue to find us here deep in these Kootenay mountains.

This photo captures the essence upon arrival here at the gallery. We are being our true and authentic selves here and the region is buzzing. Lots of action every single day. We’ve been going hard 7 days a week and every morning waking up to this new reality is a dream come true.

This photo gives you an interesting perspective of some of the energy and art that we’ve got happening here. So far all of our new visitors have felt warmly welcomed and over joyed with our enthusiasm and energy. All have been deeply inspired by our new gallery.
Here in this photo we have a clear shot of our lounging area. A place to take a breather and take in the vibe at Jacobson native art. We have children’s books, educational materials, travel mugs and limited editions on stretched canvas.
Here’s another cool shot giving you another look at what we have in the gallery. Beautiful shirts with incredible First Nations art and designs being offered. We have an eclectic selection we believe and offer a variety of interesting and incredible art pieces.
Here is room 2 of the gallery studio space. We have 25 foot ceilings and mega space to create bigger works of art. We have a lot of room for workshops, fellow artists in our community to come and hang out and just paint. I love it...it feels so awesome and exciting.
Once again here’s another section of this incredible space. With dozens of paintings on the go and all of them in various stages, it truly gives the onlooker a real sense of what an actual working studio and gallery space feels like.
We are absolutely delighted to be bringing such cultural depth and light to the Kootenay region. At this level, it’s never been done out here before. I’m the first. I feel so honoured to be spearheading such an amazing force in regards to our spiritual energy and power.
Here’s the staircase and another viewpoint of the space, room 2. Room 3 above is a spot for the antique lovers of the world. We wanted to have a little something for the soul travellers out here. I’ve always loved antiques and weird odds and ends as I like to call that.
This is another angle from above at the top of the staircase. Just to give some size in space and perspective. The feeling is one of warmth, creativity and spiritual energy. Our passion comes from within and our vision is to connect each and everyone who comes through our gallery. Culture is the foundation. Spirit is the guiding light.
The amount of energy we have put out over the last 30 days has been absolutely transformative. We are here. We are open and ready to serve each and everyone with the highest principles of love, hope, faith and creativity. It has been an exciting ride so far and every day is a new experience meeting so many incredible souls who are embracing our new vision and dream.

To share the brilliance of our culture through art, ceremony and spirit. I’ll continue to upload new stories and articles as we trudge the road of a happy destiny. Until then, enjoy the photos and I hope to see you come by and make the effort to come out  and find me...

We did it. Our new art gallery and studio is open and ready for the world here @ Jacobson native art

A beautiful good morning to each and everyone. I have exciting news to share with you. It’s finally happened and we are here deep in the Kootenay mountains opening up our very own First Nations art gallery and studio. It literally is a dream come true. I feel so happy and joyful. It’s been a vision of mine for quite some time and now, we are here.
Pictured above here is our Golden eagle which will welcome every single soul who enters our creative temple. It is an honour to be able to share our culture and art with the world. Our passion and enthusiasm is off the charts. Everyone is getting excited for our grand opening this coming Saturday.

This is room one of three that we are building. This section will house some original art in paintings, carvings, masks, limited edition prints on canvas and various products through my publisher at native northwest. I’ll have a smudging ceremony section as well where fellow souls can receive some help and guidance.

This 3rd photo showcases where much of the purchasing business will be handled. The atmosphere is deeply spiritual and filled with authentic indigenous art and culture throughout our studio grounds. Our mission and desire is to share our wealth of spirit and that knowledge with each and everyone. This will be a major cultural experience where all are welcome.

Here in this 4th photo is another example and perspective of our gallery. We will be having a sacred fire pit behind the gallery space with a full on tipi experience with an outdoor art studio. We are also building our sweatlodge and will have that up and running in a couple weeks. It’s been super busy getting ourselves  organized and ready for our launch. Every day is absolutely worth it in every way. I’m so grateful for this amazing opportunity.
Here’s another shot giving you a view of our room one experience. We have a wood stove here as well to help us keep warm when the seasons change. My partner Johnny and his wife are absolutely stoked. Our connection is deeply spiritual and filled with daily fun and laughter. It’s truly healing how we all share and communicate with one another. It’s so refreshing for my soul as well.

We even have some Norval Morrisseau art to share with our new friends, clients and collectors from around the world. We will offer sound education and advice when dealing in woodland art. Our love and passion for our culture and art is the foundation stone of this vision. We are here to share our light with all of you.

Here is the entry to our gallery space. It’s a big sliding wooden door being protected by the eagle staff hanging above. This is a unity staff which will be shared with all my relations. That is the vision and the gift that I was given regarding the development of this space. The ancestors and our residential school children want me to share my medicine with the world. And so....I shall.

What an absolute blast we’ve been having on our new journey. The excitement and anticipation is so much fun. I really am beginning to feel at home here in these mountains. I love it here so much. I get to wake up right in the heart of Mother Earth each and everyday. The blessings are in manifestation and this dream is now a reality. I am so thankful and honoured to be Anishanabe. To be a voice for my culture, the spirits of creation and our Mother Earth. To walk in beauty once again...

More information and photos to come. I’ll update you all as I continue to explore this new vision with various experiences and new stories. I wish you all a wonderful new day and thank you for being a part of my life, art and journey. All my relations, MAJ

With deep respect and love we say goodbye to a cherished soul here @ Jacobson native art

Blessings to each and everyone. Sadly we lost one of the best souls I ever had the honour to meet. A friend  of mine for over 25 years, a genuine and loving brother who shared his experience, strength and hope with me on a regular basis. Known him for over half my life.

A peyote man, road man, sun dancer, sweatlodge chief and a father, grandfather and friend to tens of thousands. He was the first one to introduce me to the medicine “Ogima Mushgigi”. I’ve had the honour and privilege to sponsor several “meetings” and hold dear to my heart and soul, the spiritual powers of grandfather peyote.

Loved...

Thank you my brother for all the love, lessons and shared teachings and vision. You will be greatly missed but I will forever remember you and think on you, often. Every time I give the grandfathers in the sweatlodge a drink of water, I’ll think of you. With the deepest and most sincere gratitude for everything you taught me...With all the love in the world....I’ll miss you. All my relations, MAJ

Our heart and soul is beginning to heal now around the trauma of recovering our residential school children...

It sure has been a very challenging and difficult journey over these last 14 months going through this deep and dark trauma of discovering all these murdered children across our stolen lands...known as colonial Canada. Many of these children are still yet to be discovered. This has been a challenging time processing all of this. I feel as though I am beginning to come to terms with this horrific reality. The emotional scaring has been so difficult to examine and feel. In honour of these beautiful children I had to go through it to truly understand my relationship to this. What it means to me as an Anishanabe, a 60’s scoop survivor, a direct descendent of the horror of residential schools.

In the second photo above is a ceremonial letting go and turning my back on anything and everything, Christian. I took all of these items and references out of my home 5 years ago, said a prayer to the CREATOR and dropped down a tobacco offering. It was done as part of my spiritual journey to decolonize. This act symbolizes my cutting these ties permanently and completely surrendering to my Indianess, my sovereignty as an Anishanabe soul here on our land, my land. I’ve also made the commitment 5 years ago as well to never step inside a church ever again. Never. I’m absolutely and 100% done. The roots must be completely severed from the abuser in order to completely surrender to the healing and move on. That is my experience.

And so it is and so it will be, focusing on the new path forward. Believing in the future of my people, our healing and wellness being the seat of the soul so to speak. Trying to be an example of the power rather than a power of example. Creator spirit is this light I am speaking to. Although this year has been a really challenging one for so many effected by these tragedies we will continue to heal and find new and meaningful ways to come together and work as a family should, the human family. We all can benefit from learning how to be more loving towards one another. In honour of the souls of these children I will continue to try and be a better me each and every day. Sending love and healing to everyone who needs it...all my relations, MAJ

What a cold and shitty experience dealing with this guy: Det. Jason Rybak of the Thunder Bay police concerning the Morrisseau art fraud

For the record: (Historical and legacy, education, sharing my truth)
I can remember the first time these cops got a hold of me. Calling me up and being all friendly and trying to be extra courteous and all because they wanted to interview me about my knowledge and experiences with Norval Morrisseau and what I knew of the fraud. By this time they were a year into the investigation. (By this time 2020 it had been 15 years for me) Oh ya, let me not forget by mentioning that the Thunder Bay police and OPP only got interested because of the movie There are no fakes. We spent years trying to get the Canadian police forces involved including the rcmp and before the movie came out, they couldn’t find enough evidence to charge anyone. (Not only that, the Ontario superior court had sided with the fraudsters making those fakes legit in the eyes of the rule of law)

And let’s get this straight, the only reason why the movie happened was because of Dallas Thompson and I getting together and Dallas becoming the first person to testify about the abuse he suffered from that total piece of shit in Gary Lamont. Everything springs from that moment. The movie, the investigation and getting a serial rapist arrested, charged and convicted of several sexual assaults in lamont.

It’s amazing how when putting this story into the hands of others, they all wanna take credit, control the narrative. (Same can be said of the Canadian media) It’s not only quite disturbing, but truly reflects the selfish and self centred nature of the colonizer. So yes, this Morrisseau investigation has been a super ugly and absolutely shitty experience, including dealing with these colonized coppers.

After our 5 hour interview I specifically got into great detail about Kinsmen Robinson gallery selling a different style of fakes known as the PC fakes. I went through the books “Travels to the house of invention, the second book as well, return to the house of invention which have those fakes I’ve mentioned here. It was weird when Det. Jason Rybak told me after the interview that they’d be focused on primarily dealing with the black drybrush fakes. I was taken back by that comment. Because I know that there are roughly 10 to 12 different waves of Morrisseau fakes.

Example of those PC Fakes pictured above on right:

I also made a comment about Lamont and that he’s a crazy sexual predator and that living out in the mountains was a safe bet for my little boy and I out here. He told me not to worry that Lamont has “no juice left”. He’s lost a ton of weight and has no street credentials. That was in November of 2020. It’s now June of 2022 and Lamont since being released from prison has been rearrested 3 times now for raping again including rape with a weapon, a knife. No juice left? .....Right.

But there he is out fuckin raping people in the community. It’s absolutely gross. I had a phone conversation not 2 days ago and it was a cold and hostile experience. I mentioned about the thing with Lamont being released etc and Det. Jason Rybak tells me that he knows it’s shitty about Lamont being released but he says to me: It’s what society wants, to let him out. And so he reoffends.....right. Blaming society? Not blaming the rule of law? The colonizers system? I would think blaming society isn’t where Rybak should be pointing his finger.

During that phone conversation he shows zero friendliness to me, he’s cold and abrupt and then hangs up on me. That’s how you treat one of the key figures in solving this crime? An indigenous artist? A 60’s scoop survivor? A person suffering from ptsd because of this fuckin Morrisseau shit?

Right.

Fuck that, guy. People like you are users. What a letdown, it’s really sad and depressing. You use people and that’s exactly how I feel when dealing with you. Not only that, but your out of touch when it comes to your PR skills. You are super shitty dealing with people. That’s my experience. Your out of touch with what even truth and reconciliation looks like. You serve an ugly and genocidal master in Canada and the crown. That’s a fact. I knew in my heart trusting the likes of you would be a let down. It is all present in how our interaction was. Fuckin gross. That’s my truth. It’s no wonder the police forces up in ol dirty Thunder Bay have a major fuckin problem connecting with the community.

Colonialism and Indians don’t mix. That’s the real truth behind this whole fiasco. I feel embarrassed that I’ve had to put myself through this. For what? For Norval Morrisseau? For his art? For his legacy? For my culture? For the truth? For justice?

What a complete fuckin joke dealing with all of this. Definitely the worst experience of my life. Dealing with the underbelly of colonialism Canada, the shadiness of it all. The selfishness of the colonizer in all their splendour...on stolen Indian land.

Congratulations to Rafael Nadal on 14 French open titles and for a total of 22 grand slam championships here @ Jacobson native art

Good evening and thank you for all the good vibes and energy over these last few months. The journey has been a grind in the arena of life but we find our way through by being persistent, motivated, dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes to get to the other side. For those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge tennis fan and absolutely love the game.

I’ve been watching and playing it for years. I have learned a great deal from many of these athletes who play the game. I watch many of the interviews from both the winners and losers of these intense physical matches and different strategies. I’ve been a fan of Rafa since he burst on to the scene in 2005. He’s my favourite player of all time and it’s a privilege watching this guy compete. Ive learned a lot through the years and I am so impressed with what Rafa has achieved in the open era.

So, with that, a special congratulations to Rafael Nadal for being the all time leader with 22 grand slam championships and for out pacing both Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic (currently tied at 20 slams each) and doing what will probably never be achieved again at Roland Garros in Paris, France....14 titles alone in one of four grand slam events throughout the yearly tennis season. Absolutely incredible....VAMOS RAFA!

One of main suspects in Norval Morrisseau art fraud case (Gary Lamont in Thunder Bay) rearrested yet again for sexual assault x 2

In another bizarre sequence of events, one of the main suspects involved in the creation, marketing and sales of fake Norval Morrisseau paintings called (the black drybrush) has just been rearrested and charged with 2 more counts of sexual assault, today. He was charged again just last week and before that, in January. It’s absolutely fuckin crazy why this piece of shit continues to get let out. He’s RAPING PEOPLE in Thunder Bay Ontario. He’s a serial rapist who cannot stop himself.

It’s way too extreme allowing this habitual sexual predator to be rereleased into the community. Fuckin step up Thunder Bay. What is wrong with you?  Holy fuck already. Enough is enough. You guys have major energy to sort through up there. It’s really sad watching all this turmoil taking shape. It creates a real separation of trust and belief in the justice system. The racism needs to be fuckin gone from your thinking up there as well. Get it together...you all look really bad.

This national police investigation headed by the OPP and Thunder Bay police needs to get to the finish line. It’s been far too long waiting for justice in the Norval Morrisseau art fraud investigation. It’s like being held hostage, really. I hate how long this is all taking. Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after fuckin year....

I think of Morrisseau these days and I just feel exhausted and uninspired. Waiting and waiting and waiting... and in the meantime Lamont continues his raping ways sexually abusing innocent people because of the very colonial system that allows for this injustice to perpetuate itself creating yet still, more victims in the process.

It’s a fucked up world that we all live in. Sad but true...all my relations, MAJ

Below image is a collage of the Gary lamont inspired black drybrush fake Norval Morrisseau rape paintings. It’s fuckin gross how this shit is still peoppered all over the Internet and Canadian art scene...

The Pentagon confirms that UFO’s also known as UAP”s are real. Disclosure is here...

Good afternoon to each and everyone. Last week was another pivotal move forward regarding the ufo uap phenomenon. I have been a believer for quite a while now and over the last 30 plus years I’ve experienced numerous encounters with strange moving lights, orbs dancing across the skies. I have had several different witnesses see them with me and have confirmed through these experiences that this phenomenon is legit. It’s real.

What it all means I certainly dont know, but the fact that mainstream media, the governments of the world are now getting on board with disclosure is a huge awakening, globally. They’re here. History has recorded this reality as well. Us First Nations have known about these relatives from star nation for millenniums. We are definitely in one of the most interesting times of unfoldment for our planet.

Title of painting: Cosmic consciousness 36 x 48 inches, 2009

This video of the United States congress and the intelligence agencies getting together to have this discussion is a major step forward. Ever since the discovery and release of those ufo videos by the New York Times in 2017, this reality has greatly shifted. This has always been one of my dreams coming true regarding this disclosure. I’ve wanted this since I was a young boy seeing my first ufo around the age of 6. From there I’ve been hooked on this subject matter ever since.

Any how enjoy this video as it gives more Information into this new awakened reality. The fact that the U.S government is confirming that this technology is a major leap forward that we haven’t seen anything like this is transformational. It excites me like no other earthly or cosmic discovery. This knowledge is the greatest knowing our human intelligence has ever come close to...we are on the cutting edge as a human species entering unchartered territory. An unknown super intelligence is upon us.

Prince Charles admits truth and reconciliation is vital, acknowledgment of the horror of Colonial past / Gary Lamont rearrested

Good evening to each and everyone. I was going to divide these 2 articles into 2 different posts but it’s really the news of the day so I’ll post this all in one shot. First off, it’s a step in the right direction when the monarchy is piping up about the vital need to address this horror done to my people across our lands with regard to this ongoing genocide and addressing the sickness of colonialism and starting to claim responsibility for it.

It’s a big deal. It makes me somewhat happy to see that the players responsible for this as well as that pope  are coming forward. Of course Canada itself needs to be held accountable for these crimes against humanity because that’s exactly what we are dealing with. It is a higher energy in healing to see these things taking shape. The dignity of our murdered residential school children deserve to have their justice including all of us who are alive and have been directly effected.

Our next piece of news today comes out of Thunder Bay Ont. with the fact of sexual serial rapist Gary Lamont being re arrested yet again, for sexual assault. This is just fuckin mind blowing how Canadian colonial law continues to let this sick fuck out of prison to yet again, reoffend. 3 months ago he tried to rape someone with a knife, at knife point. He gets released into the community on house arrest but there he is again, out fuckin raping people in the community.

It’s a tragedy of justice and protection to those who are vulnerable in that community and who become his victims. I have suspected for years that this piece of shit was a rat for the Thunder Bay police and this is why he gets “Special treatment” the way he does by the justice system up dere in dirty ol Thunder fuckin Bay. That city is a fucked up place. They’ve been head over heels practicing their racist colonial garbage and mind set up there for too long. There is a massive police investigation on the police board and it’s services dealing with the very mind set I explain about here on my blog.

It’s taken way too long waiting for justice in regards to the Norval Morrisseau art fraud investigation as well. That date has been pushed back several times now and the OPP had to get involved with all that turmoil regarding the Thunder Bay police and it’s board. They wonder why it’s difficult to have any faith in them?

Right.

Any how, I sure hope they lock that bastard fuck up in Gary Lamont, permanently. What a waste of a human. Fuckin sick bastard serial raping piece of shit. Also responsible for the fraud in Norval Morrisseau fakes. The rape paintings - the black drybrush.

The greatest love of my life is this lil guy - the CEO of Jacobson native art

Good morning to each and everyone. Just had an amazing day taking my boy out for his first full atv experience deep in the mountains. With spring time opening up more of the trails it was time to take him on this incredible ride. We travelled about 50km on these beautiful and stunning trails together and he was in absolute Mother Nature paradise today. He was beaming with joy and totally enjoyed every single minute of it.

Pictured here: Dadda and baby boy having fun

Here is my boy having a “Anishanabe zen moment” as he takes it all in having had the journey of his life going to places most people only see in their dreams or on postcards. For me, there is nothing greater than having the opportunity each and every day to hang out with this amazing and dazzling light. He truly is my everything. My dream come true. That’s what I tell him every single day. Being with him at this stage of my life is really the icing on the cake. I now know what selfless true love is. It’s being a caring and responsible father to your child each and every day. Nothing in this world can ever replace that. Nothing should ever get in the way of this.

Ever since his birth I’ve been on this absolutely most incredible journey of discovery. As I’ve mentioned I have never met any soul in my entire life who has impacted such change in my life, in who I am. My little teacher, the one who moved mountains in dadda. What can I say but that I’m eternally grateful for your existence, your precious soul and life.

My beautiful boy, my hope in a future where true love will continue to reign through our Jacobson name for many future generations to come. This is my ultimate wish, to be the father I never had and to continue our incredible and awesome journey together as father and son.
This ones for you, Sagein Wisdom. A special message between us in this track from dadda to you...

Refining my brand and artistic legacy in the 21st Century @ Jacobson native art

Pictured above: The new paddle board with Sea Gods, White rock BC

Good evening to each and everyone and I wanted to send out a heartfelt thank you for all the love, kindness and support these days. I appreciate it very much and through this site and my Facebook native arts group the response has been incredibly warm and supportive. So chi-meegwetch for that. Lately I’ve been re-examining my marketing approach and have opened up some new doors as the direct result.

Because of ebay, most auction websites, Kijiji, Walmart, the Hudson’s Bay and the like are peppered with fake Morrisseau’s and poor quality reproductions, fake prints of fake paintings it is quite overwhelming the amount of garbage that is out there. Not only is that the fault of barbarians like jim white publishing and the filth surrounded around the Morrisseau family foundation, Kinsmen Robinson gallery and the negligence of the Norval Morrisseau estate, many others have gotten involved with selling this cheap shit to the average consumer.

It’s embarrassing that this fraud continues to multiply, the lies and deceptions are hurting consumers while everyone waits for some results regarding this national police investigation being headed by the OPP. The amount of loss that many First Nations artists have suffered because we are forced to compete in this market is atrocious. Gross negligence by Canada in every way you can think of. I’ve watched it all go down for the last 2 decades. It’s pathetic and depressing.

So, here at Jacobson native art, we are moving in some fresh and new directions. We have decided to work with a couple different platforms where our quality can be appreciated and where we don’t have to contend with fake prints of Norval Morrisseau on eBay for $39.99. What a joke. More over it’s absolutely disgusting really. Most days I’m just getting pretty sick and tired of anything Morrisseau. The toll of dealing with this art fraud for over 17 years now has become quite numbing.

The amount of garbage out there is staggering so getting proactive about our new direction has put in some fresh hope and courage concerning what I offer and bring to the table. Unlike Morrisseau, my level and quality matters a great deal to me. Not only with my originals but also with the quality of my prints and publishing decisions.

We have chosen to go with poshmark and Etsy with regard to providing a playful and fun platform for those seeking limited editions on stretched gallery canvas. All prints come signed, titled and numbered and are directly sourced from my art studio. Everything released from the studio is released to the public in mint condition. Flawless. Perfect. We only choose the highest quality and best products to represent Mark Anthony Jacobson native art.

I feel very excited and happy about protecting the integrity of my art and legacy. After everything I have learned around Morrisseau it is imperative that a successful artist does everything they can while they are alive to steer this ship in the right direction. I have also decided to enter the world of NFT’s and I’m thankful to my friend, collector and new brother Chad in Toronto for encouraging me to enter this new realm. I don't know much about this digital world but I’m willing to dip my toe in the waters to find out what this potentially may lead to. I am interested to scope out these new worlds online.

For now I’ll leave some links at the bottom of this article here and you can check them out and I sure hope you enjoy the new products and services that we are offering. I take great pride in trying to do my best on every single canvas and this reflects that pride in the quality of products and decisions I make regarding my art. With great respect...all my relations, MAJ
