Perfecting the process with Woodland A.I. (Anishanabe intelligence) creating new indigenous art for future generations

Woodland A.I. title: Honouring the ancestors - loon clan spirit medicine 2026

Good afternoon and welcome once again to another breakthrough in working with A.I. This creative process and discovery has taken many months of trying to figure out. The major issue is how A.I. has so many nuances and difficulty in sticking to the prompt description and desired layout. I’ve been trying my best to train the various A.I. models I’ve been using and finally reached this new breakthrough. I think I’m getting much closer now in figuring this problem out. Maintaining structure is always an issue with how many versions I have to do to get it right. Flaw after flaw after flaw is what I’ve been struggling to solve. These latest versions are becoming more clear and refined and this is a huge factor in trying to basically perfect the process.

In the above image I’ve infused my original paintings into the creative formula and layout of the image prompt. This one is version 4. That’s actually very successful in getting the model to behave and do what I tell it to do without too many anomalies. Tedious creativity no doubt and I understand why many just wanna give up. It’s painstaking and difficult work. Most people think oh, it’s a.i. doing all the work. Not true. These language models are quite finicky and love to rework the images on its own often infusing quirks and anomalies throughout the creative process. It is frustrating. But after many failures this is what begins to happen. Real potential starts to manifest…

Training the model on my Woodland A.I. seems to be the solution to bring into manifestation the desired result. I think these are now what I would call: the next level…

Most definitely I feel very excited about this new breakthrough and it’s only going to get better from here. I’m feeling overjoyed really. What I’ll be doing with these is setting the stage for new limited edition prints on canvas to be done with these. I’m taking an image prompt, feeding it through  the digital platform of an A.I. model, then getting it in to the highest resolution possible to be fitted onto a canvas, make the actual painting then feeding that back into the A.I. to create these latest examples. A ton of work and creativity involved but now? Voila. A new magic is being introduced into the world with woodland style never being seen like this before…ever. Totally fresh and delicious.

Check out these 2 versions I did last night. They are absolutely stunning in my opinion and I feel such a great accomplishment in this regard. I’ll definitely be adding these to my new collections and will build some deadly merch around them. Here are the new versions of “Honouring our warriors of the future.”

Woodland A.I. title: Future warrior receiving universal powers. 2026 part: 1

Woodland A.I. title: Future warrior in the awakening of his full powers. 2026 part: 2

I’ll finish off this article by saying that I am absolutely blown away by where I can take this. My own dream worlds being created by collaborating with this technology. It’s fascinating and gives me a whole new way to framework my art. It’s inspiring to achieve these results and I look forward to sharing more incredible breakthroughs over the next few months. It’s beginning to click this whole creative endeavour with A.I. Things are lookin good here @ Jacobson native art.

Experiments in indigenizing the future with Woodland A.I. (Anishanabe intelligence) part: 2

Good morning and here’s to a whole new beautiful day of creativity and next level innovation taking shape here @ Jacobson native art. I’m working on some commissions during this midnight run on finishing up a 30 x 40 inch and some detail work on a couple of others. Anyhow I wanted to share these new updates with seeing how A.I can create with my art and give it a new dimension to express itself in. I kinda like how these 3 examples turned out. Had to tweak them a bit but all in all they turned out quite interesting. Once again the type of innovation happening from this creative collaboration with A.I. as my artistic muse/apprentice is fascinating to say the least. It’s really opened me up in ways and in creative opportunities like never before. It’s like I needed it to happen for me, I was totally ready for something new, never before seen or done in the entire woodland school of art. Taking it to the next next level…I most certainly feel like I am accomplishing that. With each new discovery and implementation I see results. I’m growing and mastering at the same time. New territory, new horizons and a whole new way of interpreting the future. Feels deadly cool…

Example # 1 done in pure A.I. (notice the glitch with fish tail)

Example # 2 done in pure A.I. (took 6 attempts)

Example # 3 done in pure A.I. (refined with 4 tries to finish with this)

The process of navigating this new technology and infusing Anishanabe art and spiritual intelligence into the flow make it quite pioneering like. I love doing it. I love it way more than just the regular simple woodland art forms. I see deeper into things, my curiosities are being satisfied and yet the vastness of unexplored ideas and creativity with it is simply awe inspiring for me. Like magic. Like being given a new gift. I suppose my gift back to the original architect of existence is to use it. Collaboration with this new technology gives me a whole new way to explore my art and its meanings. To reinterpret the future with it is no doubt, super exciting. I’m truly happy with what I’m doing now as an artist. Mastering my future, my own potential. I’ll continue to keep at it…it’s a fresh new vibe.

Any how here’s to exploring new possibilities and new visions the world has never seen. I’ll continue to share new updates and curiosities through discovering new features with A.I. Its growing much faster than anticipated and I look forward to new visions being made manifest…

Experiments in indigenizing the future with Woodland A.I. (Anishanabe intelligence) part: 1

Good evening to each and everyone and I sure hope all is going good in your lives. Just working on some new ideas and concepts with Chat GPT. I find it much better than Meta A.I. It’s actually quite surprising how A.I. struggles with the simplicity of the woodland art form. Sometimes I have to do several image prompts just to get it looking right. The nuances with a.i. are actually quite astonishing and even at times very frustrating. I have to rework the prompt like 10 to 20 times. I’ll explain this a little more with the next article I’ll write in part: 2 this morning while I finish off a 30 x 40 inch canvas throughout the early morning hours. Take for example the above original dyptich paintings I’m using for this study and experimental approach:

Amy how the idea was to play around with my original works and see how A.I. would interpret and comprehend. It definitely struggles with just regular woodland style. Even when you give it precise commands to execute with incredible detail in the writing of the prompt, it still does things on its own. Like it can’t help itself with adding something to the original layouts of my own art. It can be challenging and you have to remain patient in trying to get it right as how you envision it using the technology.

Example #’1 done in pure A.I.

Example # 2 done in pure A.I.

Example # 3 done in pure A.I. when asked to elaborate

Example # 4 done when asking A.I to feel inspired from previous image prompts

No question it’s a total experiment regarding what I am doing here with this process. I enjoy trying to figure these concepts out and to be apart of the whole creative and innovative experience. A.I. has its strengths and its weaknesses. It’s still such a new technology and will only get better as it grows. I don’t weigh too heavily on the darker potentials as none of us can really know that at this point. People can try to predict and speculate but I think we’ll know more in the next 36 months. It’s already creating its own coding and languages that no human being on earth can understand. What that means? No one knows for sure. We will have to wait and see…

I’ll show you these last examples where I did several versions of this A.I. image prompt and used my Woodland A.I. original painting as the reference. I chose this painting titled: I am Woodland A.I. - I am Rainbow Thunderbird:

The original painting being used as reference for A.I.

Here is what A.I. did after about 6 tries. Like I mentioned it really does have its own nuances and thinks on its own regarding what it will choose to do even after refining the wording in the prompt itself. It is pushing the envelope like no other ever has in the woodland school. I definitely feel good about that and I’m excited to build this whole new indigenous art genre in Woodland A.I. I have literally broken away from the rest and have made my own blueprint into the vastness of the future. Regular woodland just doesn’t cut it for me anymore, not like this. I have created a whole new visionary language and it will only continue to grow from here. I’ll post part 2 of these articles later on in the morning…
