Happy new year for 2026 and a special thank you to the Canada council for the arts in awarding us $47,300.00 for our project

Happy new years to each and everyone and a special welcome to all newcomers here @ Jacobson native art in 2026. We appreciate your energy and support and thank you for standing in solidarity with the truth. I have always been a source of real integrity and honesty here and will continue to do so each and everyday. I’ve learned that you can’t please everyone and that’s alright with me. We continue to move forward protecting our culture and the truth contained in it for future generations. As we’ve learned not everything is as it appears. A case in point with no doubts about it is the real truth of who Norval Morrisseau was. We will continue to educate as we move along with new journeys and experiences. It’s been a profound revelation exposing this and setting the record straight as best as I could. There’s no turning back …

I want to acknowledge the Canada council of the arts for awarding my studio a grant for $47,300.00. I’m currently getting my canvases built and there will be 4 of them at 8 feet by 5 feet each for a new project I’ll be spearheading with mentorship and apprenticeship. I’ll be getting several other canvases built as well. I’m feeling quite inspired as these 4 canvases will tell a story I wanted to do for quite sometime. These 4 paintings will be the ultimate benchmark for me and I’m sure for many others when I’m finished. The concepts and interpretations of birth, life, death and rebirth will be examined and brought into manifestation. I’m excited to dive into this project and give it my 100%. It’s nice to have some support from the Canada council of the arts. It’s refreshing really. I’ve got a team of grant writers and have gotten 2 out of 3 this year. I hadn’t applied for any grants in over 30 years. Now that I have a team supporting me I’ll be a bit more active in that department.

It was our sons birthday last month and he turned 8 years old. The greatest blessing I’ve ever known is all contained in his existence. Each and everyday his light and power continues to grow and unfold, it’s the most beautiful journey I’ve ever experienced and both Kass and I are fulfilled by his life and presence. So magical and precious. He’s doing amazing and we are so happy to be apart of his daily plan. The winter season has been good to us here in the Kootenay mountains of B.C. Not a lot of snow at this point but we are prepared here for that when it does come down. On that note I just wanted to say happy new year and I look forward to what’s coming in 2026. I should add that over the last 16 months I’ve done around 3000 image prompts and have boiled it down to a thousand. Many from that pick will be used for new woodland A.I. paintings over the next 5 years. I’ve got several of them being worked on in the studio and will get back to them soon. Rest as they say has been good for my soul…

Proud to announce my 3rd fabric collection coming in 2026 @ Northcott fabrics and Jacobson native art

Good afternoon and here’s to enjoying the beautiful energy of summertime and the bountiful energy of Mother Earth. Things are moving along and I’m super proud to bring forth our 3rd fabric collection with Northcott fabrics and Jacobson native art. With the amount of creativity and amazing energy that was created with our first collection in “Healing waters” and the second collection in “Sacred earth”, here we bring you a glimpse in to the future with our 3rd collection in the Changing seasons.

We’ve been super focused on this particular release because we wanted to find a way to make the 4 seasons tied into one beautiful collection. I definitely think we pulled it off and a big shoutout to the creative team with Northcott. Everything pulls together wonderfully and this is no doubt one of our finest. Feeling happy and content with this outcome and I’m looking forward to its full release in January 2026. We have so many exciting events and situations being made manifest. Indeed there will be much revelation as we move forward throughout the changing of these seasons. Just want to send a message of thank you to all the wonderful people who keep showing up in my life, family and business. So many exciting people becoming apart of our sacred circle here @ Jacobson native art.

It’s an exciting journey in the creative arts and this applies to both the good times and bad, but over the last 4 decades I’ve been privileged to create some incredible magic. I really enjoy how I can let others experience my art in unique and personal ways. To open up doors of opportunity and interaction. That through these unique partnerships I can afford many others to literally touch the fabric of my art, my soul. It’s a phenomenal vibe and I truly love to see how others create with my art. Enjoy some of these examples here and once again chi-Miigwetch for all the good medicine being shared. It definitely helps when one is true and pure who tells it as it is and is fighting the good fight. More to come….
