The Pentagon confirms that UFO’s also known as UAP”s are real. Disclosure is here...

Good afternoon to each and everyone. Last week was another pivotal move forward regarding the ufo uap phenomenon. I have been a believer for quite a while now and over the last 30 plus years I’ve experienced numerous encounters with strange moving lights, orbs dancing across the skies. I have had several different witnesses see them with me and have confirmed through these experiences that this phenomenon is legit. It’s real.

What it all means I certainly dont know, but the fact that mainstream media, the governments of the world are now getting on board with disclosure is a huge awakening, globally. They’re here. History has recorded this reality as well. Us First Nations have known about these relatives from star nation for millenniums. We are definitely in one of the most interesting times of unfoldment for our planet.

Title of painting: Cosmic consciousness 36 x 48 inches, 2009

This video of the United States congress and the intelligence agencies getting together to have this discussion is a major step forward. Ever since the discovery and release of those ufo videos by the New York Times in 2017, this reality has greatly shifted. This has always been one of my dreams coming true regarding this disclosure. I’ve wanted this since I was a young boy seeing my first ufo around the age of 6. From there I’ve been hooked on this subject matter ever since.

Any how enjoy this video as it gives more Information into this new awakened reality. The fact that the U.S government is confirming that this technology is a major leap forward that we haven’t seen anything like this is transformational. It excites me like no other earthly or cosmic discovery. This knowledge is the greatest knowing our human intelligence has ever come close to...we are on the cutting edge as a human species entering unchartered territory. An unknown super intelligence is upon us.

Dealing with fraud and copyright violations of my work @ Jacobson native art

Good afternoon to each and everyone. These are indeed very difficult and challenging times that we are in.  With the discovery and recovery of our residential school children, this genocide of my people, the war with Russia and Ukraine, global warming, the pandemic, the list just goes on and on. These challenges effect us all in more ways than one. Yet the fight for truth must continue.

For years now I’ve been doing whatever I can to assist in fighting this fraud of our art. It started with standing up for the legacy of my friend in Norval Morrisseau. That has been a 17 year fight so far. Now my work is being stolen and taken advantage of by these criminals and not just here in Canada but worldwide.

It has been a refreshing energy to have actual help and assistance with regard to these matters. The police are fucking useless and have offered absolutely zero help. In this day and age you have to hand them the case on a silver platter like I did with Morrisseau where you have done most of the work, being unpaid and using your own resources to even get them to help or assist. Even in that, they have provided me with no assistance.

So, I’m stuck either doing it myself or finding those who actually care enough to help. I belong to a group called “Fraudulent native art exposed”. It is a small team of dedicated and trusted souls who do work as I’ve listed above. I’m a part of this group. I continue to not only help defend my own interests and authenticity but indeed I’m still helping dozens of other native artists...including still, the art of Norval Morrisseau.

This article is an overview of how to go about protecting your own art and copyrights. You have to become your own law and justice. Relying on others to get the job done will not suffice. One must take the lead themselves. You have to take action. I hope this piece of advice becomes useful to those who are suffering with these issues. It’s become quite a problem for many native artists across this god forsaken country called Canada.

Have a safe weekend and thank you for your continued respect and support of all these efforts being done. All my relations, MAJ

Back in the flow and creating spiritual medicine for the world @ Jacobson native art

Good evening to each and everyone. Just a beautiful day and feeling like I’m making more sense out of this crazy and hostile world we all live in. I’m back in the studio making time for what I do best, my art. The fight has been real, honest and pure. I’ve had to take my time through this and put these pieces together regarding this living genocide and truth of discoveries concerning our residential school children.

I’m simply happy today to be back painting. I have dozens and dozens of pieces on the go. It’s time to refocus myself and plan my next course of actions as I sit in the spiritual world channeling these images and stories putting them down on to the canvases. Recording the spirit and sacred teachings of my people, the great Anishanabe...

Enjoy this new track. I love high energy tribal beats when painting in the studio. This is Bantwanas feat. Khonaye - Amanz’Endlini

The only 2 souls who remained loyal to me throughout my investigations into the Norval Morrisseau art fraud

Good morning and it’s a great day to start it off with some gratitude and appreciation for 2 amazing guys that I not only had the honour to become friends with, but remained loyal to me throughout the whole experience of this Norval Morrisseau art fraud investigation. The movie there are no fakes really brought about some negativity but it didn’t jeopardize these 2 friendships. I’m super grateful for that. With my bro in Dallas Thompson pictured here, this guy is perhaps the most incredible warrior I have ever met in all my travels in life. He was the key to opening up all these doors regarding this investigation.

When he disclosed to me what was going on in Thunder Bay with what took place at Gary Lamont’s, it was the most devastating truth that was being uncovered by my brother. The nights he would call me at 2 am in the morning, talking to 5 am about all the events that took place was utterly fuckin soul crushing. I would listen to him break down the events that happened to him and we would both cry. The amount of pain and suffering that was endured would take super human strength to deal with, day in and day out. It’s one of the main reasons why I look up to this guy. Not only did he become the first one to opening the door to charging and getting Gary lamont arrested with 23 counts of sexual assault, forcible confinement, death threats, assault with a weapon etc, he also opened the door for us to work with the other survivors.

This was the real team effort. You have to remember that before these crucial moves that took place, the RCMP, the other police forces, the Norval Morrisseau estate, academia including the lawyer Jonathan Sommer, they had nothing. They were all being beat by the lies being believed in Ontario superior court. The Canadian rule of law had made these fake paintings, real. This is obviously another reason as to why I have little faith in the rule of law. As an indian in Canada, the way they bend and twist it to serve their own needs is fucked up and seriously discouraging. So I did what my ancestors inspired me to do and that’s go forward in this whole mess with indian law, our cultural laws and teachings.

It was status Indians who brought light to the severity of these atrocities first. The serial rapist in Gary Lamont needed to be stopped. It had way more fuckin priority than the fraud. That’s what nobody could figure out including the police. They knew some things but couldn’t find a way to get their man in Lamont. We did that. Dallas Thompson and I. There was no Norval Morrisseau estate there. There were no OPP officers there. No Ontario superior court, No detectives. no academics, no NMHS, No KRG, no Ritchie Sinclair, no John Zemanovich, no Jonathan Sommer, no Coghlan art....not one of them. It took the courage and determination of both Dallas and I to get the ball rolling. From here, everything and everyone got to jump on board. Make no mistake about that. These are the facts. Even though many have tried to control this narrative and spin it in their favour. This is the reality.

This guy here is Kevin Hearn. He too saw this thing all the way through. He never betrayed me or turned his back on me, even today. The amount of appreciation and respect I have for him is phenomenal. He stood up to these fraud bastards as well and committed to the process of uncovering, discovering and recovering justice. Not only for Norval Morrisseau’s legacy, but more importantly, for our friend in Dallas. For me, he’s also a hero like Dallas. What Kevin was able to contribute in regards to support, dedication, faith and trust, belief in us, and unwavering resolve is simply amazing.

He is a true soul. He never abandoned Dallas and I. He has stayed the course even now. Like his friend in Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip, they have learned the secret path. The door that opens to us and our world. As hard as that is for some to enter, Kevin Hearn is a true spirit, a genuine human being who cared enough to help set this record straight.  For Canadians and First Nations alike so that hopefully we can continue on this path, the path to truth and reconciliation. More to come and more to be revealed, Im certainly not done with many of you yet. With respect and appreciation...all my relations, MAJ

Exposing the lies of the Norval Morrisseau estate part: 3 (The fraud behind the fraud)

Picking up from where we left off with regards to exposing the crimes, lies and bullshit of the Norval Morrisseau estate we are going to enter new territory surrounding this whole empire of darkness. So, here it is for the first time being exposed publicly is an actual photo of Gabe Vadas working on and painting Norval Morrisseau art. This big fat secret has been incubating in the Canadian art scene for years. Nobody really knew how involved both Gabe and Michelle were as Morrisseau’s “caregivers” but here is the true reality.

I suspected early on that there was way more to: “more than meets the eye” with these two. For one thing they most certainly underestimated me and my level of knowledge and understanding. I’m sure they’ll try to spin it as....”every great artist has apprentices” and helpers. True, but not all apprentices and helpers are suspected of finishing off hundreds and hundreds of paintings. Putting into question not only who actually painted these things but more importantly the validity of authenticity concerning the majority of most of these works being created throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s.

Ever since I got involved with my investigations regarding this fraud and studying Morrisseau and his techniques and applications I could notice a dramatic shift in the actual style of his works in the 1990’s especially. The forms changed, the work became more childish rather than childlike. The people forms had shifted into little mini “Elvis looking Indians” with sideburns and all. Way less detailing and inlay work. Very novice like. Yes Norval was suffering from Parkinson’s at the time, yes he suffered miserably with that stroke. It took the majority of his skills away. Thus the need for extra more reliable and sturdy hands.

Never once have they ever come out publicly to announce these truths. Never once have they ever admitted to being Norval Morrisseau’s artistic apprentices. But here it is. You have to ask yourself why all the secrecy? Why keep this hidden from the public? I’ll tell you why: MONEY. That is the underlying reason why. It would be much more difficult to actually get the Canadian art buying public to spend thousands of dollars on this art if it was known that they were being primarily created and manufactured by you guessed it? White settlers. Lol. Precisely why they needed to keep quiet about this. Imagine that huh? Spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a Morrisseau sourced painting being sold through you guessed it? Norvals primary dealer in Kinsmen Robinson gallery out of Toronto Ont. All throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s, hundreds of works of art. Never once stating that many of these paintings being worked on and finished by both Gabe and Michelle Vadas of the Norval Morrisseau estate.

With Norval being as sick as he was back then, the tremors and shakes were getting too difficult for the master to paint. He needed reliable helpers each and everyday and he had them in Gabe and Michelle. It’s the pink elephant in the room. The shit that got swept underneath the carpet. The real truth that has escaped the world of Norval Morrisseau art. I also have to say that I’ve seen them with my own eyes being very capable artists in their own right. Upon my visits to Nanaimo I would hang out and stay the weekend many times during my visits. They got so comfortable with me that they wanted to impress me. On two separate occasions I watched Gabe draw out a Thunderbird design on a drum in 15 seconds. The drawing was well balanced, a bit immature in design but effective. It could pass the eyes of everyone at KRG. On another occasion it was Michelle’s turn to show me what she could do. She did an amazing drawing on paper of Norval Morrisseau art within 20 minutes. I was impressed. That they could draw and sketch out these designs just like Norval.

You have to have a masters eye to see it, to put it all together. Couple that with my experience in seeing them actually produce the artform out of thin air like that gave me all the insight I needed to form this perspective. Because none of them including those dysfunctional liars over at KRG who couldn’t authenticate the difference between a plastic bag and a paper one, this gives credence to the reality that all those paintings being sourced from Kinsmen Robinson galleries all throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s are suspect of being executed by white settlers. A young art student working at an art supply store in Michelle and the gay street kid from Hungary Europe. in Gabor Vadas.

As a concerned consumer who is spending in the tens of thousands of dollars and in some cases like Westerkirk works of art, (spending millions) you bet I’d want to know pertinent information like that. I would want to know all those details so that I could make a better and more Informed decision on my investments. This is a major problem in the art world, to be truthful, it is a world of rattlesnakes, tap dancers and chronic bullshitters....mostly. For me, I truly believe that this is the main reason why they have been hiding in the darkness. Afraid of the discovery of the truth that lays in their hearts each and every day. It’s the fraud behind the fraud and as a First Nations soul who is really the gatekeeper of truth in our woodland school of art, these white settlers need to pipe up and tell the truth.

Don’t be afraid to expose your truth around this. I seen it with my own eyes. And now so has the world.  You need to be responsible and shed the light on this for future generations. So that they know what is authentic Anishanabe art and what was created by white settlers. You owe this to our children...you owe it to tell the truth. To set the record straight.

Celebrating the successful launch of our new Facebook group @ Jacobson native art

Good evening to each and everyone and thank you for all your love and appreciation over these last few months. This site is growing and the articles and stories and art are a wonderful energy for those seeking truth, spirit, culture and creativity. Keeping on point is important and social media is becoming a ever more presence in the marketing and sales of art.

I also wanted to do this group as another resource for what I do and to share information on actual facts with regard to my price list, previous sales etc. The market is very important to me and keeping my prices moving higher and higher takes diligence, dedication and being firm on those realities. The secondary market is a roll of the dice at best and most clients, galleries, auction houses and their websites don’t always have a resource for actual price points.

This group is a way for me to establish that on the secondary market primarily. All galleries I deal with across Canada and beyond are in alignment with the current 2021/2022 price list. This can be found in this new group. Also all the details on how to go about commissioning a painting is all written out for you as well. The feedback and energy has been fantastic and we are off to a great new start over there.

Enjoy yourselves and please feel free to join the group and get involved. Your comments, questions and feedback is very much welcomed and I look forward to personally connecting with you there as well. Once again I wanted to express all my gratitude for those of you who are loyal to me and my art. I love you for that and it inspires me to be a better version of myself each and every day.

Digging ourselves out of 6 to 8 feet of snow in the last 72 hours @ Jacobson native art

It has been a super blast of overwhelming snow over the last 72 hours out here in the Kootenay mountains.  This is our official welcome to 2022. Not so much of a happy new year but a real tiring dig from this merciless snow storm. We are now into day 6 of snow, snow and guess what? More snow.

I’m feeling a bit discouraged today by this relentless beating we are all taking out here. Our car is now stuck, I have aches and pains all over my body, my quad is tired and is having difficulty moving all this snow. I can’t move much today. I’m tired...

Also, our little community of 350 souls is running out of food supplies, gas and pretty much everything else. Before we got stuck last night, we had to drive for 4 hours to get a loaf of bread. We picked up a few loafs plus extra food supplies and gassed up in the city of Creston BC. The drive back home was treacherous to say the least. I feel super thankful that we made it home albeit getting stuck at the bottom of our driveway.

There were dozens of cars, trucks and transports on the side of the highway. Very brutal to see the devastation happening out here. We will continue to try to deal with this but today I surrender to Mother Earth. You win...momma.

Celebrating winter solstice with the magic and beauty of our son @ Jacobson native art

Pictured here: My son Sagein Wisdom and I, a ball of light and a golden eagle

Wishing each and everyone a wonderful and new chapter of human being life experience here in the celebration of winter solstice with our beautiful and soulfully magical son in Sagein Wisdom. What can a parent say about the magic of their children. Our little diamond in the sky is just that. A continual fountain of magic and inspiration each and every day.

I am so amazed and absolutely blown away every day by his growth, learning capacity and continual inspiration. He has changed me. I am helpless really because I’m so in love with who he is and how he is becoming himself each and everyday. He is a cosmic force of pure energy and magnificent power. It’s so humbling because his trust and love is the most important force in my life. I’ve had the absolute luxury of having him with me everywhere I go, all day long, every single day.

I haven’t missed a beat and being apart of his daily experience, development and growth is the most magical thing I have ever experienced in my entire life. Im so stoked and excited to wake up and be a part of his day each and every day. What a blast...
I am so honoured to be his father and he is the greatest master teacher of love and trust I have ever known. I always want him to know how important he is to me. Baby God, little chief, my one and only, my boy. This ones for you Sagein...I Love you more than anything in this world...

Mastering Morrisseau and continuing to build my legacy @ Jacobson native art

Good evening to each and everyone who continues to find me here at Jacobson native art. Life has been running more smoothly for me these days. I’m back to creating more in the studio and my heart and soul is healing from the revelations of this on going genocide by Canada as the direct result of the residential school children being discovered. With thousands of unsolved murders going unpunished at this point in time and these active crime scenes unwilling to be investigated by the international criminal court, it makes it super difficult and challenging at this time of my life to be in a place of inspiration.

So while I continue to heal during this time I thought it would be nice to share and reflect on my life and journey as a well established woodland school master artist. I’ve been in this process of reflecting on what separates me from Norval Morrisseau and the different timelines of experiences thus far as a leading force in this woodland school of art. I’ve been at this now for over 36 years. Almost four decades now and as I continue to focus on mastering me and my potential, I have come to truly realize just how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown.

I started drawing woodland art when I was 11 years old. I am a self taught artist. My whole fascination really began when my dad gave his mom, my grandma, a native art painting. It wasn’t until I left for Thunder Bay Ontario at 13 years of age that I actually made my first woodland art painting. It was on a canvas board, about 18 x 24 inches with the subject matter of a crane with a fetus inside it, painted in simple black outlines with a red sun in the top right corner.

Here’s a similar example taken from 1989, a small piece representing my humble beginnings:

Over my three and half decades of experience and practice thus far, I have come a long long way. I have travelled and sold my art all over North America. I have held numerous exhibitions throughout the land and abroad. I have made my way by relying on me. Unlike Norval who had hundreds of people holding his hand along the way. Most of them enablers who always had their own invested interests and financial motives. This is one of the key reasons why Morrisseau was so destructive.

He had around him a cast of characters that he could manipulate because of other people’s motives and desires. Most of that being a money machine that Morrisseau ended up being for countless art galleries and dealers along the way. All hustlers. All wanting a piece of the pie. So sure, one can get a little sloppy with their decisions and choices in life. As they say, you are who you surround yourself with. I got to see so much of that regarding my 15 years of investigating the art fraud surrounding Norval Morrisseau’s legacy.

It was much like being at some haunted house of horrors show in dealing with hundreds of various people along the way of Morrisseau. Too much brokenness, sorrow, lies and deceptions, betrayal and selfishness. Just about everyone of them on both sides of the Morrisseau coin including his own children and family members who betrayed him needing bigtime treatment and healing. That is what I saw as I devoted all those years of my life in being the key architect in saving his artistic legacy. Just as he had asked me to back in 2005.

I still have to say that it remains as one of the shittiest and darkest experiences of my entire life. It’s left me with a bitter taste, a hardened heart. The amount of loss and brokenness around Morrisseau is staggering. I can honestly say to my inner most self that I helped to clean up a ton of karmic mess around this whole thing. If I had never gotten involved the way that I did, this fraud investigation would still be in dead waters. Getting involved in helping to save the lives of all those victims was really the foundation stone of all of this. Justice for those sexual assault survivors, justice for Norval Morrisseau, the world art buying public, collectors, countless museums, galleries, institutions and their various academics and obviously including the Norval Morrisseau estate.

You know after all these years and experiencing all the truth I discovered around all of this I’m actually quite glad to have moved on. Mostly from all the broken people who played a role in finding a way to hurt me. That was the hardest part. Putting my faith in people close to Morrisseau who I thought were the good side. They were of the dark side...and unfortunately were only primarily concerned with themselves. They were cold, calculating and lied to me about who they were.

Title of painting:

The divine realms of Rainbow Thunderbird

In the end learning about the life and art of Norval Morrisseau really did teach me so much about myself. Not so much in the similarities as there are many, but more in our differences along this journey. Look, he’ll always remain the first master of this art form but he most certainly isn’t the only. There are plenty of others in my book who have taken the art form and made it better. I myself can be included in that conversation along with Roy Thomas, Carl Ray, Saul Williams, Leland bell, James Jacko, Roger Kakegamic, Rocky Fiddler, Lloyd Kakepetum, Gelineu Fisher, James Mishinabajima, Isadore Wadow, Richard Bedwash, Brian Marion, Gordon Fiddler, John Rombough, Jim Oskineegish, Blake Debassige, Moses Amik Beaver, Jay Redbird, Randy Trudeau and a few others.

These are the big names I see who have made it their mission to perfect and enlarge upon the style, movement and woodland school itself. The 4th and 5th generation seem to be growing as well but indeed some of them have kind of lost their way. This current decolonization movement called “indigenizing” seems to have gotten off the track. I personally feel like we dont need to Indigenize anything because it’s already here. With us. We are just that. Indigenous. So adding stupid things like a can of Pepsi to a woodland art design or adding cartoon characters to this style seem more about garnering attention on social media than protecting the integrity of our art forms and culture.

I just think there’s no real merit in that shit except stealing colonial ideas, themes and concepts and trying to make it “native” or “indigenous”...lol. It just defeats the purpose really and I don’t think there’s any real magic in any of that. Pop culture shit really and there’s just too much of that garbage floating around now a days. I prefer real spirit in the art I make. That is me. This is my view and experience. I also don’t agree with white people painting this art form, selling it in galleries and passing it off as native art. We all know it’s not so stop pretending. You know who you are...

Paintings by:

Norval Morrisseau (Flowers, birds and butterflies)

In researching the many sides to this Morrisseau puzzle regarding the extensive size and scope of this art fraud and in meeting Morrisseau himself and spending a great deal of time with him before he died in 2007, I have come to see the many differences between him and I. He was definitely more destructive to himself and his family. The disease of alcoholism being fuelled by his own trauma of being in residential school and suffering sexual abuse really took its toll. Even right up until the end, he would sip on a Mickey that Gabe Vadas would give him on our many trips and visits. I saw it with my own eyes so I know the truth. (It’s unnecessary for the estate to lie about Norvals sobriety)

This was and continues to be one of the greatest lessons Ive learned from the life of Norval Morrisseau. Even today I haven’t taken a drop of alcohol in over 23 years now. Sobriety and walking the red road each and everyday has been the catalyst for me getting better and better. Not only as an artist but as a human being as well. I also don’t suffer from the many passions and obsessions that Norval Morrisseau did. I have mastered many of those obstacles where as in Morrisseau those things really defined his experience even up unto his death.

Maybe it’s true what they say, more money more problems. I can only reflect on what I saw and what I experienced and indeed that for me is what defines the differences. Today I would rather hang a Jacobson original in my home, than a Morrisseau. I’ve owned Morrisseau’s and I still own 9 pieces today and will always appreciate the beauty and power of most of his work. But after everything that I saw and learned regarding his art, life and legacy? I’d hang a Jacobson over a Morrisseau any day of the week. I suppose that is one of the telling signs when you’ve outgrown your mentors, those before you and so on.

As we should, building upon the great foundations of those before us. I think they would want it that way. That each of us should take the lessons of those before us, truly learn from them and continue to build forward and upward. That is what an art movement should be all about. Perfecting it. Making it better from one generation to the next. I know there will be others like me who see the challenge as a great one...and why not? For it is the very inspiration that creates the hunger for even greater innovation in the ingenuity and creativeness in the human spirit, the human being. The human soul. All my relations....MAJ

We honour and respect the highly classified reality of the UFO/UAP phenomenon

Title of painting: Universal sharing of the genetic codes

Good evening to each and everyone of you here @ Jacobson native art. I wanted to get into this article for quite some time and now I have the time to do so. There has been a radical shift over the last 4 years regarding the reality and truth of the Ufo/Uap phenomenon. It is the most top secret and classified file on the planet. Nothing even comes close.

The New York Times really broke open the story in 2017 by the release of classified videos regarding the Nimitz encounters and what is now commonly known as the Tic Tac ufo incident. Over 4 months ago the pentagon confirmed that all these videos and photos of the incident are infact authentic. Now, that being said, we First Nations have known about these entities as “star nation” for tens of thousands of years.

I have had dozens and dozens of experiences myself. All of them being fast moving orbs of light, changing colours and many of them moving in different directions. All signs of intelligence and with the confirmation of the pentagon, they have also released a detailed report to the U.S. senate in June of 2021 as well confirming this reality.

Title of painting: Cosmic consciousness

For me, on many of my experiences I’ve also had witnesses who have seen them with me including a couple family members who were literally blown away that I could summon them and they would show up. I really believe that they are open to revealing themselves to those with a beautiful heart. It’s always a non threatening experience for me. More or less a display of their capabilities and technology. A fantastic light show if you will.

We are most definitely in one of the most exciting periods of discovery ever, in human history. I feel so blessed to be in this awareness. It is a powerful energy no doubt. Their abilities with being trans medium, no propulsion, able to move in impossible g force conditions, breaking our known understandings of the laws of physics and being able to appear then disappear is some of the most intriguing energy around this phenomenon. Any how I feel so honoured that the time for disclosure is upon us. Slowly and step by step is how it has to be done.

Enjoy this video as it gives a very clear cut idea into the subject matter at hand...wishing you all the highest good as we move into these new realities. All my relations, MAJ

The centre of my Universe @ Jacobson native art

Good afternoon to each and everyone. Wishing you all blessings in the highest good. I wanted to share some of the profound magic and spiritual energies between my son Sagein Wisdom and I. He has a deep fascination with our cultural ways and practices. My little chief as I call him. He is such an inspiration to me. Such a strong character and curiosity at 3 and a half years old.

This is a photo of him running the smudging ceremony at the studio and with the eagle feather he is blessing me with the sacred medicines. He has a natural way about himself with these regards. He instinctively knows how to use these tools in a gentle and loving way. He makes me so super proud. He really is the most profound and life changing soul I have ever met in my entire life. Nobody even comes close.

My journeys in life have been plenty. I’ve been to hundreds of sweatlodge ceremonies. I’ve sponsored several peyote meetings as well. I have learned many different prayer songs and ways to communicate with the spirit. My culture has been the foundation for me to heal from these active crime scenes of genocide upon my people across these stolen lands being occupied by the abuser in Canada. The deadly cause and effects of colonialism have been a major unwanted thorn in our sides. The time for real change is upon us.

We are survivors of genocide, but we are also some of the most beautiful souls on this planet. We live in 2 worlds at the same time. Our new found heritage and the cultural strength and power that that represents, and the evil and wicked regime of this sick and twisted colonial occupation. So it is here, in this reality that I aim to father my son with the very best of who I am, each and every day. He deserves it and so do I. After all the shit Ive had to live through and overcome I am so much better prepared than my parents ever were. I have slain many dragons and have broken multi generational cycles. I am a change agent and have created my whole life out of defeating the odds. Those who really know me know this to be fact.

And that is where this all matters. It’s for him, my boy. To have a much deeper and better experience moving forward one day at a time. He will reap the benefits of my experience. He will know what I know in these regards. He is willing to learn and to bring more light to the human being experience. And for that, my heart sings...for him, my little chief, my warrior’s prayer living the most beautiful and enlightened life that I can give him. My dream come true...my Sagein Wisdom...

We appreciate the love and support @ Jacobson native art

Good evening to each and everyone and I appreciate all the great energy of love and support these days as we continue to trudge this road of life and destiny. Recently I made some new shifts and changes to my social media vibes and it seems to be paying off in more ways than one. I am mentoring quite a few artists these days both indigenous and non native alike.

I am born of both these worlds so it is wise for me to share my experience strength and hope in regards to turning the game around. Everyone can benefit from my truth and experience. The reality is I am a whole being. One with all things. Never separate from the whole. There is indeed all kinds of shit I don’t agree with etc in how we have been conditioned to believe and treat one another but underneath that static, is the power.

I am grateful that my reach is expanding and growing. It has always been about the healing and coming together of each and everyone of us. Time and space affords all kinds of shifts and changes. I see the underlying current of this force, this unified energy. It doesn’t matter what the mind thinks in this regard. It is the soul that should be in full control of who you are. That is where the true power is.

With that, I just wanted to express my gratitude that there are millions of souls around the world who are resonating with this new found energy and power. It is newly found for many because one must peel away the layers of bullshit that hide us from this divine knowledge and power. The colonial playbook is just that.

It’s Indigenous Peoples day and @ Jacobson native art, we celebrate these 3 masters

ROY THOMAS - Master artist

 SAUL WILLIAMS - Master artist

NORVAL MORRISSEAU - Master artist

Good evening to each and everyone. Thank you for all the positive energy and spirit that has been manifesting here at our new site. We appreciate you all and wish you only the best. Today is indigenous peoples day and for me I feel like every day is Indigenous day. I am Anishanabe so it goes without saying. I would like to share some of my personal experiences around these 3 master artists in our woodland school.

These 3 guys have inspired me and have been my mentors throughout my whole career. I love them all so much and have admired them my entire career. They are legends to me and I have been absolutely blessed by becoming friends and having a personal relationship with all 3. This fact has been one of the most significant sources of inspiration and determination for me as an artist. Indeed there are others in the woodland school of art who have inspired me as well but these gentlemen are my top 3 of all time.

I first met Roy Thomas in Thunder Bay around the age of 15. By that time Roy was already regarded as the great master of the second generation. He shared with me the technical aspects of line work, detailing and inlay. He also taught me how to hold a paint brush properly as well. My time with Roy was short as I had only seen him a handful of times (around 7 visits to his studio) but the profound effects on me and in my art will last a lifetime and for that, Roy Thomas is legend.

What can one say about the level of mastery in this next mentor in Saul Williams. I have always looked up to the levels of skill, detail, Colour use, inlay work and precision in the art of this master. Saul Williams and I have been sharing with each other on phone and through Facebook the last few years. He even came to the movie premier in Toronto for there are no fakes. The amount of respect and honour I have for him is next level and he is a true pioneer in our woodland school.

Indeed Norval Morrisseau is someone I’ve always had immense respect for. He is the whole reason why I got involved in helping to play a critical role in saving his artistic legacy. Meeting him and being inspired by his life’s work was a pinnacle moment for me back in 2005. At that point I had been making my way in the woodland art form nationally. I was at the 20 year mark of being a woodland school artist. My time with him during my visits to Nanaimo will have a lasting effect on my life and in my own legacy. Our time together was the icing on the cake for me. I realized then that I had been acknowledged by one of the greatest living masters to ever do it. I have never looked back since then.

Now it’s all about mastering Jacobson, my potential and my level of mastership in the woodland school of art. For me, this is the greatest artform on the planet. I love everything about being an Anishanabe master artist. I am one of the living legacies and spirit of this art now. This is how I feel about it. My time is now. The light of this torch has been handed down on to capable and grateful hands. It is an honour and privilege and I will continue to carry this legacy through all my paintings as did these great legends before me. With deep respect and love....all my relations MAJ

Celebrating 10 years online 2011 - 2021 @ Jacobson native art

Good evening to all my family and friends, art collectors, researchers and others both newly discovered and seasoned veterans alike. It is with a deep sense of personal gratitude that I celebrate the catalogue raisonne being online for 10 years. What a success it has been in helping to accumulate detailed knowledge, locations, provenance along with other fascinating details on the legacy of these artworks.

I will always be known as the first native artist in either First Nations or Canadian history who has done so to date. Not even the Norval Morrisseau Heritage society will ever be able to claim that. We took care of that business here in regards to safe guarding the important and sacred artistic legacy @ Jacobson native art.

Actions speak louder than words and that is something very important with me in regards to taking care of the integrity of my artistic legacy. In dealing with the shady business practices and gross negligence with the Norval Morrisseau estate, I quickly learned that it is never a wise decision to leave this in the hands of others. Not while I’m alive. I must do everything to set the record straight in this regard. What happened to Morrisseau was and will always be, a national disgrace.

That will not happen with me thank goodness. One, my quality is superior to Morrisseau. Two, this authorized resource will be one of the best defences against fraud and other various forms of forgery. To have the opportunity to take care of these details while I’m alive and in my prime of life is an excellence that I try to capture in every piece I create.

Those who collect and invest in Jacobson native art deserve that attention to detail and excellence as well. It is a symbiotic relationship between artist and collectors. It is a divine relationship in its essence, the art and the spirit of that being tied to all things. We are the sacredness of the circle. Clarity and integrity are a vital part of my legacy. The reality of truth and reconciliation @ Jacobson native art

Good afternoon to each and everyone who continues to find me here @ Jacobson native art. Well as many of us know today is the first annual national truth and reconciliation day. Definitely another move in the right direction but a very small move it is. There is such a list of grievances against this nation called Canada.

There are many agents who are guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity including the Catholic Church, many other Christian churches as well including many of the police forces as well as the RCMP. It’s absolutely disgusting on so many levels. How, (their rule of law was invented on stolen Indian land) when the white man says to follow the rule of law but they cannot follow it themselves. They choose to find ways to hide from their crimes, to bend the law, the rules and everything else they get their fuckin hands on, to their own advantage. It’s a real dr. Jeckel and mr. Hyde scenario.

Canada and most Canadians simply cannot be fully trusted. Most Canadians are complete airheads when it comes to the history of how Canada came to be. (Even the white man in me knows this) How they got what they got....(stolen goods from stolen lands resources etc). Most Canadians dont even know how bad they got it. They are so colonized and assimilated that they literally can’t even think for themselves so they vote for white colonial so-called leaders to do the thinking for them.

And that is exactly the reason why Canada continues to fail miserably with us First Nations. Obviously there are tens of thousands of more reasons on top of that but the reality is Canada is a genocidal program built on the murder of us First Nations and the continual raping and exploitation of our resources. Our wealth. The colonial doctrine of discovery is a racist and discriminatory action against First Nations and other indigenous tribes throughout the world.

Canadians whether they know it or not, their so called country is built on this foundation. Land theft, resource theft, murder, rape, stealing our children, racism, discrimination, hate, violence, force and control. Building your dreams as Canadians on the backs of oppression, on the very backs of us First Nations. That is what Canada is. That is what it means to identify as a Canadian. It’s gross I know. But this is the truth. And we cannot have true reconciliation until we deal with these matters of truth.

I’ve always said since my awakening into my own process of decolonization and for the last few years now being in the pursuit of my sovereignty as Anishanabe that reconciliation will take time. In fact, the way I see it is that the cultural fabric of this country is still in the discovery of the truth phase. We have not even truly begun to deal with what real reconciliation will look like.

Still even in the thickness of all of this, I must continue to remain hopeful. The fog of assimilation is beginning to lift albeit very slowly across our lands. I have friends who wouldn't be able to grasp any of this 5 years ago. They now can talk more openly with me about it. I see organizations and people beginning to stand up more and more with regard to how this must shift and change for all First Nations and Canadians alike.

For now we will continue to move forward each and every day. I’m willing to seek this change and I’m willing to open up my heart to others who want to walk this path with us. I truly believe that it will remain a difficult challenge for Canada to learn how to shift and change with us. The government knows that they are in the wrong. Most of them know it. But greed, selfishness and exploitation still lead the way in the Canadian mind set. And let’s be honest, until our white settler brothers and sisters learn how to decolonize themselves, we are still a long long way from real and meaningful change. These types of Canadian settler sickness must be dealt with. It is the very poison that keeps the genocidal colonial machine still alive in this, the 21st century.

Canadian art galleries and dealers who are “permanently black listed” @ Jacobson native art

Wishing all my friends and collectors and those of you who are new in discovering my art, a beautiful morning. I have been reflecting on my various experiences in the Canadian art world the last couple of days and I feel like it’s time to set the record straight on my dealings with many of these Canadian/colonial institutions.

The levels of Colonialism, discrimination, racism, prejudice, class distinction, lies and deceptions and out right fraud is absolutely fuckin unbelievable. I’ve been in this business for over 35 years now. I’ve seen it all across these stolen lands. It’s despicable how many of these operations treat us First Nations. The greed, ego and outright selfishness is some of the ugliest shit I’ve seen from many of these galleries I’m going to list.

This list is to educate my buyers and collectors on the pitfalls of dealing with these very galleries who in one form or another as labelled, have qualified to be permanently blacklisted. These are my honest and accurate accounts and experiences. Let’s get into the details:

#1: National gallery of Canada - Colonial institution founded on racism and genocide (I simply don’t give a shit about the national gallery)

#2: Kinsmen Robinson gallery - Scumbag pathetic liars who sold fake Morrisseau’s (Paul Robinson is a complete douche bag)

#3: Bearclaw gallery - sold fake Morrisseau’s, liars and cheating scumbags

#4: Eagle spirit gallery - Owner Rob Scott is a 2 bit hustler scumbag (sells fake Morrisseau’s)

#5: Donnachild fine art - sold fake Morrisseau’s, lied to many unsuspecting buyers, art fraud

#6: Koyman galleries - sell fake Morrisseau’s (deceiving art buying public)

#7: Raven art Canada - Betrayed and sold out by owner John Zemanovich and wife

#8: Friends united - One 0f the worst experiences Ive ever had selling art to a client

#9: Norval Morrisseau estate - gross negligence, untrustworthy, very cold unstable energy

#10: Red kettle collectables - selling various waves of Norval Morrisseau fakes

#11: Black sheep gallery - sell fake Morrisseau’s with some real Morrisseau’s

#12: Brights gallery - owner peter was warned about his fake Morrisseau’s, he continues to sell them right up to this very day

#13: Jim White distribution - one of the biggest distributors of fake Morrisseau’s, fake prints of fakes, major copyright Infringement, out right art fraud

#14: Bremner & Bremner fine art - currently sell fake Morrisseau’s

#15: Ugo Matulic - fake Morrisseau art collector and dealer, a lying scumbag, a total piece of shit

#16: Several Canadian Museums and institutions - currently in possession of stolen property and cultural artifacts. Colonial framework still operational in this, the 21st century. It’s absolutely disturbing. Please do the right thing and give back our cultural property and wealth, thank you.

So, there you have it at this point. Clearly I have had my issues with these various false entities who pretend that they represent the truth. Clearly, they do not. It takes a serious grievance and a series of let downs that are marked in deceptions, lies, selfishness and wronging me with disrespect that will finally break the camels back. Those who truly know me know that I have a very big heart. I’m willing to go to bat for many many different types of people out there. But if you fuck around? Guess what? You’ll find out...you won’t be around me, no more. My inner circle is vitally important to me. Sometimes thats what it takes to take care of yourself and your environment.

Healing the souls of our children @ Jacobson native art

 Painting in progress...

Title of tripdych: Healing the souls of our children, Size of each canvas: 30 x 48 inches (total of 90 x 48 inches) 2021

Good evening to each and everyone and I wanted to send a big shout out to all of you who continue to share in the healing and support of the discoveries of our residential school children. This energy has been a heavy one for many across this country and around the world. The challenges are difficult and the emotional terrain not so easy to navigate.

The spiritual reality of this has had and continues to have a very deep and profound effect on me. I am a direct product of the genocide and abuses of residential schools and what Canada has tried to do in wiping out my family bloodlines as Anishanabe. I am a 60’s scoop survivor. I truly represent the seeds they couldn’t destroy.

I am alive and I have a son who is also a seed they cannot destroy. We are the true spirit and life of the Anishanabe. We are stronger than ever and we will overcome. It is our destiny. We are masters at living in 2 worlds at the same time. It makes us very powerful. We will continue to thrive and move forward with a steadfast spirit honouring our ancestors, our children and ourselves.

I’m currently working on several paintings here in the studio. I am working on the above mentioned tripdych set titled: Healing the souls of our children. It has been very challenging to find the light of inspiration in such a dark energy with regard to the murder of our children. But this painting needs to happen. I must find their love, light and power and share this with the world.

Their spirits are guiding me in this piece. It has been one of the hardest paintings I’ve ever had to make. To find this painting in a sea of darkness...that’s exactly how it has been. I will continue to find a way within to accomplish this feat...to honour them, the souls of our children for all generations...past, present and future. All my relations, MAJ
